W&W’s Kamil Iwicki is a speaker at the “Gas for Poland Conference 2017”

W&W’s Kamil Iwicki is to deliver a lecture entitled, “New rules for gas storage. The choices possible for the fulfillment of obligations under the Act on fuel stocks” at the “Gas for Poland Conference 2017”, to be held at the Westin Hotel in Warsaw on March 30, 2017.

The conference will be attended by: Piotr Naimski (Government Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastructure), Konrad Szymański (Minister for European Affairs), Paweł Jakubowski (Director of Development, GAZ-SYSTEM SA), representatives of the Ministry of Energy, PGNiG SA, other suppliers and importers of gas, major industrial gas consumers, energy companies involved in the gas market, the Polish Power Exchange, and reputable consulting and law firms.

Papers to be heard during the Conference are divided into the following panels::

  • Strategy and energy security of Poland and the external environment. EU Energy Policy, Nord Stream 2, Opal and EUGAL.
  • Gas market and OTC platform in the competitive gas market.
  • Import of gas to Poland. Technical, business and legal conditions.
  • Main trends in the Polish, European and global gas markets.
  • Conditions connected to gas purchase and change of supplier by industrial customers.
  • Cross-border gas trading, diversification regulation and new gas storage rules.
